It is still a typical winding road with many slopes ending at the romantic Tram Me ferry, but there are many improvements to bring the best experience to all runners. 42.195km distance runners start at Phong Nha Ke Bang Town Tourist Center. With the total length of the route is 36km, of which there is only about 6km of running repeat. Immediately after starting, runners will have a chance to run along the flowing Son River across town, then towards the road leading to the center of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. And the running repeat track after the historic bridge of Tra Ang, runners can still experience the road going deep into the core of Truong Son forest - the most beautiful path through the forest with primeval forest, rocky cliffs, moss, and the early sun rays. Still going through full of historical monuments such as 8 Ladies Cave, and Nurse Cave. However, do not be subjective when participating in the distance. hey, because the total cut-off time of the full marathon is 7 hours, which means you have to make sure the average speed is at pace 10. If you spend time taking pictures, climbing slopes, or resting for too long, you will be at risk of being cut off at Cp4 (06:45 am), Cp9 returning (9:00 am), Cp7 returning (09:45 am) and Cp13 (11:20 am). 

Starting at the Botanical Garden of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. The organizers will take you from Phong Nha Ke Bang Town Tourist Center to Botanical Garden to depart by bus. You need to pay attention to be on time to ensure boarding. From the Botanical Garden, the runners start the race in the direction of Road 20 Quyet Thang. At the intersection of Tra Ang bridge, continue along the Ho Chi Minh road West branch crosses Mooc stream, Chay Lap suspension bridge, Son river suspension bridge, and finish near Tram Me ferry. The HM route of Quang Binh Discovery Marathon converges beautiful places in Phong Nha - Ke Bang area such as the suspension bridge, and Tram Me - Xuan Son ferry, .... Total cut-off time of the half marathon is 4 hours 45 minutes. You can spend time taking pictures and resting to drink water, but don't forget you will be at risk of being cut off at Cp7 returning (9:45 am) and Cp13 (11:20 am).

Starting and finishing in two places is a unique experience at QBDM. At the same time, runners who are new to running or are not ready to participate in long distances when participating in the 10km mini-marathon can still experience the "sloping hill specialty" of the Discovery Marathon chain. You will get enough sleep and be best mentally prepared for the 10km distance, starting at 08:00 am in town, runners will be able to run along a legendary river, bringing both natural beauty, and full of historical and cultural stories of an entire strip of Central Vietnam - the Son River. Footsteps continue to take runners towards the road leading into the center of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, entering the core area of ​​the Park, through the forests, rolling majestic limestone mountains, or a waterfall in the distance. After passing the CP3 watering station, the road will have a challenge with runners before reaching the finish line, a slope high enough for you to be filled with emotions when you pass and stride the last steps to the finish line in the green atmosphere at Botanical Garden located in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. The cut-off time for 10km is 02 hours and the organizers will take you back to the venue to participate in the activities of the Awards Ceremony. 

Starting from Phong Nha Ke Bang Town Tourist Center, runners will run 03km along a legendary river, bringing both natural beauty, and full of historical and cultural stories of an entire strip of Central Vietnam - the Son River. Then turn to look at the river in the opposite direction one more time and reach the finish line. This distance is suitable for families to experience and enjoy the beauty of mountains and rivers on a flat road.
