TMG Hoi An Discovery Marathon 2022

►5km: Start line is at song Hoai Square. The course will take you toward Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, turn on Nguyen Duy Hieu street, Bach Dang street, crossing the bridge on Cao Hong Lanh street and making the left turn to the finish line at song Hoai Square.

►10km: Start line is at song Hoai Square. The course will take you toward Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, but will turn around before Cua Dai bridge at the U-turn mark on Tran Nhan Tong street. On the way back, you will turn on Nguyen Duy Hieu street, Bach Dang street, crossing the bridge on Cao Hong Lanh street and making the left turn to the finish line at song Hoai Square.

►25km: Start line is at song Hoai Square. The course will take you toward Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, passing Cua Dai bridge, it turns right on Duy Thanh Duy Nghia street, passing Truong Giang bridge, and the bridges crossing Ba Ren river, and Thu Bon river to Cam Kim area Continuing on Cam Kim bridge to return to the ancient town of Hoi An, and finish at song Hoai Square.

►42km: Start line is at song Hoai Square. The course will take you toward Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, turn to Nguyen Duy Hieu street, and run toward Nguyen Du street along Thu Bon river to TL608 for approximately 7.5km before turning around. On the way back to Cua Dai bridge, you will turn right on Duy Thanh Duy Nghia street, passing Truong Giang bridge, and the bridges crossing Ba Ren river, and Thu Bon river to Cam Kim area Continuing on Cam Kim bridge to return to the ancient town of Hoi An, and finish at song Hoai Square.

• The registration portal will officially operate from June 08, 2022, for any information needed, please contact email support@racejungle.com or hotline 033 355 4242. 
• For travel and accommodation packages, athletes only need to provide payment confirmation email to be able to use the service.
• Please note that the person on the ID card or passport must be the one to check in before picking-up the bib and the race kit
  (The online check-in gate will be opened 5 days before the race day).

1. GENERAL REGULATIONS

- Organizing Committees DO NOT process complaints after the event date.

- Participants start 5 minutes later than start time, will have the results not be recognized.

- Participants will be required to stop running if he/she exceeds Cut-Off Time at check points per listed

- Participants under 15 years old must obtain Parental/ Legal Guardians’ signed Acknowledgement

2. TIME LIMIT

- Time limit for 42km distance: Each runner has 7 hours to finish the race

- Time limit for 25km distance: Each runner has 6 hours and 30 minutes to finish the race

- Time limit for 10km distance: Each runner has 2 hours to finish the race

- Time limit for 5km distance: Each runner has 1 hours to finish the race

- Runners who do not finish the race in the limit time have to follow directions from the adjudicators and get on vehicles prepared by the organizing team to get to the finishing line

3. OTHER REGULATIONS

- Participants must follow the Organizing Committee, who are Race/Event Staff, Volunteers, Medical Staff, Marshalls, and Security Staff during the event.

- Participants must attach BIB to the front of the outfit. Participants appear without BIB will be escorted off run course by Security Staff or Marshalls (Except Staffs with Organizing Committee/ Event Organizer badges)

- Pets, bicycles, skateboards, trolleys, scooters, shoes with rollers or any equipment as wheels are prohibited on the run course. Only Ambulances and Event Vehicles serving the Organizing Committee’s logistics.

- All Participants are responsible for self-understanding the event schedule that includes race start time of his/her distance. Participants must present 30 minutes prior to start time at the start line/ gate for race briefing before running.

- Participants will be disqualified from the race and future races if he/she violates the instructions of the Event Staff or Marshalls, or misconducts sportsmanship behavior, or physically/ verbally perform offensive manners to Event Staff, Volunteers, another Participant or Spectator. The decision is made at the discretion of the Organizing Committees.

- After exiting the run course, participants will not be allowed to return to the run course for any purpose including going to another venue or assisting another participant.

- Any participant is discovered by Marshalls, Event Staff or Surveillance Camera that he/she cheats by shortening the run course (short-cut) will be disqualified. Participants who receive any support from anyone will run the risk of being disqualified from the race. (Assistance here includes providing information or assistance directly or indirectly to Participants in any way, including communication equipment).

- Participants on run courses that do not have an official BIB with timing chip, or do not carry the official ownership of BIB, timing chip, will be removed from the race and future races. Participants who go missing on run course or have irregular timing record at checkpoints may get disqualified.

- Participants need to contact the emergency numbers printed on BIB when encountering issues on run course and need to return to the nearest checkpoint for assistance, if he/she wishes to stop running.

- Medical support by Medical Staff assigned by Organizing Committees is permitted and participants may continue run with valid result if he/she completes the run.

Method to determine the competition results:

+ Results for top ranking and awards are determined by Finish Time or Gun Time. In case 2 athletes finish the race at the same time, the result will be decided based on Chip Time.

+ Results for sub-prizes ranking and awards are determined by Chip Time

+ Competition results are recorded by time measuring device attached to the BIB

In which:

Finish Time (Gun Time) means the period from the start signal to the moment when an athlete crosses the finishing line, according to Organizing Team's time system.

Chip Time starts counting when the athlete crosses the start line and stops when he/she crosses the finishing line.

The Organizing Team has the final decisions in all matters.

- All awards/ prizes will not be delivered after the event ends.

- For award disputes between the winners, claims must be raised during the event.

- All Participants are responsible for self-understanding of the rules and regulations of the event on the website: https://racejungle.com before joining the race. Any violation of any rule may cause the participant disqualified from the race.

- The Organizing Team has full right to change the scheduled routes, event agendas, time limits (Cut off time) on the racecourse, etc to ensure the safety of the race based on the actual situation without prior notice.

- The organizers can unilaterally suspend, modify, or cancel the event for any reason, including qualified safety conditions. In the event of the event is being suspended, modified, or canceled for objective reasons (including and not limited to wind, rain, hail, hurricane, tornado, earthquake), terrorist activities, fire, threat or attack, industrial accident, flood, unavoidable loss, or any other cause beyond the Organizing Committee’s control, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND POLICY. NO FEE THAT IS EVENT RELATED WILL BE REFUNDED

4. REFUNDED REGULATIONS

To request a refund, please kindly email to support@racejung.com the proof of successful purchase order of the product, service from The Organizer’s website or from an authorized agent. The refund request will be confirmed and process to refund per the following timeline (calculated according to the date when the event was first announced):

From 60 days above: refund 70% of the purchased total race package

From 30 – 59 days prior to the race date: refund 40% of the purchased total race package

From 14 – 29 days prior to the race date: refund 10% of the purchased total race package

From 13 days prior to the race date: no refunds.

In the event that the race is either delayed or canceled, the deferral can be applied within 13 days prior to the race date. Participants are required to comply with government policies and regulations issued by The Organizers.

The product or service that is purchased, participants may contact to product or service provider or participants may need to comprehend the policy for their own individual benefit.

# Note: This policy is not applicable for runners who have chosen to Change and deferral request to another existing equivalent race.
